I study these things as to give a real aura to my writings. I write to inform, educate, and most of all entertain. I like for the reader to feel what I am writing as they read as if the story is coming off the page and the reader can feel the exctiement in his body as he anticipates the next move or outcome of the story. I embrace all history Lt for history is there for us to learn from but I love all the wars of history especially those of the late 19th and all of the 20th century. WWI, WWII, The Korean Conflict, Vietnam especially becuase it is like WWII only in the 60's, Iran Contra, Panama, Guatamala, Beirut, Desert Storm on up to present day. I am going to check out some WWII material now one by Anthony Glees: The Secrets of the Service: A story of Soviet Subversion of Western Intelliegenc. SPY BOOK: The Encyclopedia of Espionage; and Venona: Decoding Soviet Espionage in America.
I see you like adventure and so do I we will have a lot of good discussions in the future. I like Idiana Jones and other rollicking stories of generals and spies in coldwar type situations. I also try to throw in some romance in the usual since of the word and in the unusual since
