First and foremost, I love books! In fact, I'm addicted and have been since I was a little girl. The only thing I ever wanted to do that resembled work was write novels, and that's exactly what I do now. I sold my first book to Berkley Prime Crime in 1993 in a contract for the first three novels in what became the Fred Vickery mystery series. Just a few months later, I sold a romance novel to Harlequin Superromance, and I've been writing for both publishers ever since.
I'm mom to two daughters whom I adore, and mom-in-law to a wonderful son, but the absolute crowning glory is little miss Abigail, my super, splendid, absolutely perfect in every way granddaughter. Yes, she's my first grandchild -- why do you ask?????? « less
