In You Can't Get There from Here, Nash's prose treads gracefully along a thin line, somehow finding a balance between loneliness and wit. Nash's world is a place filled with pink shag potty covers, poodles with brown crud stains, Fanta bottles and Planet of Apes playing cards--a place populated with characters who suffer as they search desperately for some semblance of happiness and redemption. Unlike most contemporary fiction, this is a trip that's well worth the ride. Buy it now. You won't be sorry.

Stark and beautifully violent, Feast of Snakes is a classic southern gothic tale.
