Dear C, I wish I could be with the group going up to NJ to meet Barbie. Sounds fun! Loved the wedding pictures of your daughter. I either just finished "The Cat Who Played Brahams" or I put it up to finish later, can't remember. I am on "Executive Orders," by Clancy right now. Love the story, but dead weight carrying around this Large Print, 1,000 page book.
Dear Friend, I hope Amanda loves her new college year coming up. I'm glad she is happy with her decision. Good Luck on the wedding plans! Just reading all the cookbooks to help pick out rehearsal dinner choices? or just for fun? : )
I feel so bad that I've not been at the hotel for such a long time. I've read, but not participated because I keep missing days/weeks in between. I told Linda I'd try to come back. Hope you are enjoying your summer! love, Gail
The CA group has chosen The Kid : What Happened After My Boyfriend and I Decided to Go Get Pregnant by Dan Savage as April's book selection. Hope you'll participate.
Please stop by the Celebrate Adoption group to vote for a group selection to read in April.
Hi! Just about to add a book and realized I had a picture of my son, Justin, and my daughter, Kendall, and my sister, Carole, on my "friends" page. Funny thing is that both kids are holding dogs and sister is next to gum ball machine. Maybe I need to get a dog! : )

Daughter of the Ganges: A Memoir
by Asha Miro
is Celebrate Adoption's November book selection. Let's plan to begin discussion in December. We hope you'll participate!
Dear CLuvs2Rd, I love the pic of you and your husband.... so sweet. I just finished "Alexandria Link" last night, and enjoyed it. It is spy/Christian intrigue. I liked it a lot. I am listening to a Book on CD by Rice: Jesus, the Savior? Christ, the Savior? Out of Egypt. It is very easy listening. I thought I would never read anything by this author. SHe must have had a salvation experience to switch gears from Draculas and the dark side... to a book on Jesus! : ) If you get some good reads recommended then hollar at me and pass them on! love, Gail
Great to meet you. Looking forward to checking out your shelf and I hope you enjoy mine.
Please stop by Celebrate Adoption to weigh in a group read for November!
First, thanks so much for reading the book. Glad you like it!
The adoption is such a slow process--We've been at it a year now, and it may be another year before our baby comes home. I did buy the cutest pair of tiny overalls, and they're now sitting in the room that's going to be the baby's (sigh.) It was probably dumb of me, but I couldn't resist. I do believe, though, that it all will happen when it's meant to happen. That's what gives me strength through this whole waiting process.
