Hello and welcome to my shelf. As you can see, I have a serious problem with adding books to my to-be-read pile. It's been a problem ever since I discovered what exactly a library was. The pile grows and my time shrinks, but isn't that the case for all bookaholics?

I enjoy reading books from all genres, but particularly like books as... more »

Thanks :-) Yes, they are wonderful, but my sheltie is soooooooo disobedient and is so good at making up his own mind, and he never listens to me. It's really quite annoying. ;-)

I just read your profile and totally understand about adding books to tbr pile. I'm just like you, friday I went into the library just for looking, yeah right I brought back three, and one I still had at home, and two I received from paperbackswap.com. Talk about adding on. But I'm hopeful that spring break will give me plenty of reading time, I hope. I enjoyed your shelf, mine feels small compared to yours. Happy reading =)

I loved Sylvia Plath's Letters Home. It was like reading a big long narrative about her life.

Hey --- I just put Swiching Time on my Wish List. Sounds really interesting, I'm fascinated with that stuff, ever since I saw Cybill.

We have a ton of great books in common!

Hi Kim, welcome to Play Book Tag! Our tag for December is mystery! If you would like to see what other members are reading, check out the thread December Tag: Reading Plans and Suggestions. You can post your reviews on the thread December tag: our collective reads.

As an added incentive to read the monthly tag, we “raffle” off an Amazon gift card for every thousand posts we reach. One of the requirements to qualify though is you have to have read a book for the current months tag!

This month, there are four additional tags which were chosen by the administrators of the group. These tags are disaster, ghosts, southern literature, and environment. You can also find recommendations or make suggestions on the thread mentioned above.

For answers to other commonly asked questions, please look over the FAQ for new members which is pinned to the top of our discussions. If you have any questions about PBT please don't hesitate to ask me!

    See you on PBT!

    Happy reading,
    Nicole

Thank you for your response to my "Should I Read" question about Gregory Maguire's novel "Lost." It was helpful. :-)

I really liked The Host. In fact, I liked it better than her Twilight Series. The story feels deeper. The first few chapters read kind of slow, but then I couldn't put the book down.
