Your kind words mean a lot--thanks so much. My daughter is doing relatively well on her meds right now. Read Probable Claws and loved it, of course. I'm hoping to start on the Dulcie Schwartz mysteries when I can find them.

I'm about to go get Probable Claws; I read your book Mad House and it hit really close to home with me as my aunt probably had schizophrenia (and my mother took responsibliity for her for a number of years) & my daughter was recently diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder. Mental illness is a harsh thing...

Dear Clea: Are you with Sisters in Crime? I live in haverhill and had my debut novel published in April. There's an event in Boston on the weekend of the 19th-20th of September at the Hynes Auditorium. Are you aware of it?

Finished Mew is for Murder. Loved it! The cat in the picture is Molly. She is one of my rescue kitties--she was dumped in my yard last August with her brother. We are working with a rescue organization to get her adopted. Her brother was adopted some time ago. She's a quirky kitty but I am told by my cat lady friends that this is common with tortoiseshells; apparently there's something called "tortitude" :).

I just finished Cries and Whiskers and loved it though I am not a real mystery fan. I've also read Cattery Row and I'm going to read Mew is for Murder as soon as I can get my hands on it. Your cat is lovely--I have several tuxedos of my own among my clowder of cats. I look forward to reading all of your books.

Yes, i am a cat mom. i personally think a feline is the most beautiful animal on the planet. I can't have a Lion or a Tiger, so a cat is the next best thing. I love animals period.

Thanks Clea, we had her for 11 years, but it doesn't quite seem long enough. We still have one cat and two dogs, so a full house.

I sure miss my Molly, we lost her in August. I think for now I will switch back to the "wet kitty" picture because it's still hard to see her.
