Hi - I'm Amber, a wife and mother and love being at home with my family. If I get a good book in my hand, it's difficult to put it down. It's not unusual for me to read a 400 page book within just a couple of days. I'll stay up late at night reading until my eyeballs dry up and ache so bad that I can hardly stand it.

If it's fiction,... more »

  • Everyday Italian: 125 Simple and Delicious Recipes
    • Rated 5 stars

This is now one of my FAVORITE cookbooks on my shelf that I keep going back to!! Giada has some really great basic recipes in this book. Her sauces can be used in many, many recipes. I've gotten to where I triple the Maranara recipe and freeze most of it. I use it for spaghetti, pizza, meatball subs, crostini and whatever else I can think of! It works in many recipes and it is incredibly delicious!

We love Italian food here and this is a great book for the basics!

I had no idea that there were so many different ways to homeschool your children! Mary Pride covers ALL things homeschooling in this book! I have recommended this book to people who are completely new to homeschooling or have been homeschooling for several years. A LOT of your homeschooling questions can be answered with this one (really huge) book!

At first, it's a little difficult to get past the way Debi Pearl is getting onto us as wives for the problems we bring to the marriage table, but after you get your heart right, it's easy to see that she is totally correct in everything that she teaches in this book.

I totally recommend this book to ANY woman considering marriage, or just got married or has been married for 25 years. This book is a definite for any bride-to-be or wife!
