It took me a really long time to get into this book but when it did finally catch my attention (which was more than halfway through) I was deep into trying to figure out the mystery of everything. I really hated Daniel infact I'm still having a hard time liking him (but I'm trying) but I took too Cam right away. Imagine my suprise at the big twist in the end. Lauren Kate get an A+ with putting so much attention to each character a making sure the reader get their own feel for them. However as strong as she is at writing her characters she's lagging at the story. It's plainly obvious that she wants to keep everything a mystery and she's doing everything she can to do so and in the attempt the story suffered. Fortunately enough not too much because the EXTREME mystery edge in the story pushes you to read the next installment in the series: Torment. I give this book 2 1/2 stars but they only let you do whole stars on here so I'm putting 3.

It was so much better to see Kylies finally be revealed. There was a lot of drama and surprisingly a lot of action and it all pulled together really well. I have a feeling that in the next book something big will happen that will change everything. I can't wait to read it. I was also so glad that Roberto (Red) got the chance to redeem himself before he died. Now that I know he really was a misguided youth looking for redemption I understand how he he behaved the way he had in the previous books. I feel he should be given another shot at life, a happy one. But if living in heaven for an eternity is what he gets then its a better reward anyway. I loved this book and it was worth the money to buy and the time to read.

This book holiday book penned with two romance anthologies was both intriguing and yet a disapointment. While both stories were good reads I remained frustrated the entire time I read these stories. Both stories started off a point in the lives of the two couples and at a pressent time yet the stories were both about a relationship and major break up they had years prior and them trying to get back together in the present. I was continuosly frusutrated throughout the entire book because there was a whole other story involvong these couples before these anthologies were written. I scoured the net trying to find the stories of these two couples in the past books penned by Beverly Jenkins and Elain Overton but came up empty handed to no avail. The stories were great but I would have rather read them from the begining instead of 4 years later in the anthology penned by Jenkins and 10 years later in the one penned by Overton. So because the story started at poor timing I will not be giving high stars for these two stories. It was a nice try on the authors part though.

Excellent read! The story kept me engrossed for the entire legnth of the novel. I loved the mystery added to the story as well as the romance. While it was an interracial romance the color of the main characters skin was NOT the main focus of the book as it is with so many others. The book was so enthralling that I read it through the night. I finished it in just under 9 hours. I honestly hope there will be another enchanting book by Mrs. Carmichael soon.
Though there were a few grammatical errors there were not enough to distract from the story. This book was and A+ read and I am delighted that I read it.

An exciting addition to the epic series House of Night. Wonderfully written with no holds bared. The authors did perfect. I read this book late in to the night, turning the pages with emince excitment. The Cast duo provide and exciting indef look at characters we havn't had the chance to really get to know yet. The level of mystery, excitment, betrayals, and love get deeper and deeper with every page I turned. If you haven't picked up this book yet then now is the time. This book is sure to leave you satisfied and shocked. Prepared to become addicted as you read this great instalment of the House of Nogt series.

I loved this book very much. I found it excellent to see into a different culture and I loved it. Although I felt that Heaven's hostility was way over board it made an excellent balance to the relationship with Hamid. This is a true love story.

The series just keeps getting better and better. I love that Sky and Jack are finally together. It's so sad what happened to Kingsley.

It was a great read. A lot of people say that they did not like this particular book in the series because they did not like how Bella acted when Edward left her. I actually understood her action. Although I wouldn't go jumping off of cliffs or riding mortocycles with strangers, I still understood. It's a love story about soulmates. I people can understand why Romeo and Juliet killed themselves then I don't know why they can't understand Bella's reaction. It true love and to be seperated from your true love is devastating.
