London-born C J Moran was educated at Wimbledon College and worked in the London insurance market for many years (which is more interesting than it sounds!)
Even before Apollo 11 landed, he had been bewitched by science fiction through; Bleep and Booster, Doctor Who; and Star Trek.
He first started writing in the 1980s, though his first efforts were straight thrillers. He completed his first novel in 1991, an apocalyptic tale entitled The Four Horsemen.
In 2011, he completed his ninth novel The Cage. « less
