Hi, everybody! I'm trying to put together a mix of books I've read, books I'm reading, and books I'd like to read. I included some childhood classics that I loved, some of my favorite comic books, and some piano music that I play (or, at least TRY to play! lol). I love reading most mythology; classical fiction, plays, & poetry; sci-fi/paranormal/historical romance novels; non-romance sci-fi/fantasy novels; some mysteries; some horrors; books about medicine/women's health issues, and books involving topics in psychology or sociology; books about the environment & current affairs; history/military (particularly WW II) and political books; and biographies. I also enjoy non-fiction books exploring criminal justice/minds. Basically....I'm all over the map! :) I also enjoy writing, journaling, and doing crosswords & sudoku.
I currently live in NC, but I spent most of my life on Long Island, NY. When I'm not reading, writing/puzzling, or fiddling around on the computer, I enjoy watching certain tv shows (my favorites: NBC's "Life", "Late Night W/Conan O'Brien", "30 Rock", older "SNL", and "Chuck"; ABC's "Extreme Home Makeover", CBS' "Moonlight"; Sci-Fi's "Ghost Hunters"; Lifetime TV's "Lisa Williams: Life Amongst the Dead; Court TV's "Forensic Files", and the Travel Channel's "Most Haunted" - yeah, I pretty much love ANY good haunted/psychic show). I also love the NY Yankees, going to the beach, hanging out at my local Barnes & Noble, drinking lots of coffee, dining out, dancing, seeing live plays/concerts, going to the movies & renting movies, downloading/burning/mixing/listening to music, tweaking my myspace page (myspace/cinnamon_girl_74), and getting on the message boards of some of my favorite authors/shows (Favorite author board: Jacqueline Frank's. Favorite actor board: Damian Lewis' Yahoo Group. Favorite show board: "Life"'s). I love to vacation to Ocean City, MD (also love Rehobeth Beach, DE), up to NYC whenever possible, and out to the west coast to visit my one, younger sibling (brother). My mom (one of my best friends) and I have lived together since my dearly loved father passed away from lung cancer, in 2006. We have 4 spoiled & adored pets (3 cats & 1 dog). I'm 33-yrs-old, almost divorced (waiting for paperwork to process), & currently single. I will be re-attending school to, hopefully, finish my Bachelor's in Psychology & Communications (those change, daily, LOL) sometime within the next year, at the University of North Carolina - Wilmington. *whew* I think that covers most bases for now!!
