A great day is a stack of books, a pot of homemade soup simmering on the stove, a fire in the fireplace. No makeup. Comfy clothes. No cell phone. And of course, my husband and family.
A typical day. Wife, Mother of four young adult children and two grandchildren (not quite the empty nest). Adult only child daughter of two loving parents (thankful everyday they are still "young" and healthy). My CPA practice in a small town in Georgia consumes me most waking hours. However, no matter how stressful the day, I soothe my soul by reading before sleep. I never go anywhere without a book to read and I find comfort seeing all of my favorites books on my bookshelf at home and now my Shelfari bookshelf (friends in their own right).
I love to cook and try new recipes. I guess you could call me a "foodie". The one constant
in life is change. Enjoy the journey. « less
