I am a busy working mother of 2, plus husband. Reading is my favorite thing. I have read most genres but I have been addicted to Paranormal Romance and Urban Fantasy for the last few years and I don't think I will be able to read another genre again.

I agree while I enjoy the series as well its better to end them on a high note than to keep putting more out that are no longer any good. I really enjoyed the early laurel k Hamilton books but after awhile they just got really bad. I would hate to see that happen with galenorns series.

This will actually be my second time reading it so my review should be attached to it. It's my book club book for February so I figured I'd reread it to make sure I'm up for discussing nuances. I think it would be totally appropriate for an 11yr old and I think you would likely enjoy it as well. Let me know if you do end up reading it together.

How exciting a fellow Rugby fan, and you have a player in the family. So cool. Wow a scrumhalf/kicker, good position, he must be very quick and nimble. You must be very proud of him. I agree, the atmosphere is a bit wild at times but it is always with good hearted fun at the foundation.
No I have no players in my family. I go to the local HS and adult local clubs games when I can. I watch on-line mostly, but I did get to see the USA team play Italy when they came to Houston. I love the game, and have since college, they had a great team. I even have a Rugby Ball that shares my favorite bookshelf. LOL
The Fever series, one of my top 5 favorites. Well I like/love everything she has written. You really should try to get to books 4-5 asap they are the books that finally release some of the secrets. Exceptional. IMHO
I hope you don't mind if I follow you.

Thanks! I loved the early Scarpetta books and finally had enough at book 10. It just wasn't the same writing style. I'm nervous about reading the Anita Blake series now that several people have said they miss the "the old Anita". I think I'll keep reading until I get to that point.

Great shelf! Thanks for adding me as a friend.

It is very daunting with the really long series. I can only say that Robb keeps things fresh each time and the standard is consistent.

I don't watch it, I only catch bits and pieces when my kids have it on. I hardly watch any tele at all truth be told.
