Touching godliness through submission. What that an easy read but a hard appl;ication? I am amazed, especially this time of the year, of the submissiveness of the Messiah--from womb to tomb! Blessings

Please review Limerick's "Legacy of Conquest" I'd love to know your take on it; it's been a while since I read it, but I have looked back to it many times with my interest in western history.

I see you're reading Dallas Willard's "Renovation of the Heart." Willard is on my books I wanna read list. I'd be interested to hear what you think of this book once you've finished it.

I haven't found much modern devotional literature or theology along the lines you are talking. Most of them are mediocre appeals to man in the pop culture or pessimistic polemicists. I do like a British gent named David Pawson, but I don't know if he's up to the level you are talking about. Have you ever read CS Lewis's Abolition of Man? You don't even need a full saturday for that.

How is the Journey Into The Miraculous? What kind of a book is it? I really like Mere Christianity as well. Is this a reread?
