“I spent my 4th of July curled up with Grayson Pierce. That was the BEST 4th of July I have had with a book in a real long time. Morgan Kearns never ceases to amaze me with her incredible story telling skills. I love the fact that Grayson and Jane's story is so relatable. What they went through any one of us could have gone through and I liked that. It makes you feel connected/invested to their story. I also loved the fact that we got to see some old friends from KHB (Fade To Black). Jane is a sports caster that wants to prove that she is a great journalist and Grayson is a baseball player out to win The World Series. Neither ever thought they would see each other again, never mind embarking on a whirlwind news story. Jane sees it as an opportunity to cover a big story (even if it isn't the story she wants to be covering) and Grayson sees it as the opportunity of a life time (a second chance if you will), I just couldn't put this book down. Grayson is such a HOT character it is hard to choose between him and Rich Spencer from Fade To Black. On a scale from 1-10 I give this book a gigantic 10. Morgan you now have a devoted fan for life. Your books just get better and better. If you are a fan of Baseball, true love, love conquering all, and second chances you NEED to read this book. If you LOVED Fade To Black you need to pick up In It To Win It. If you haven't read either pick them both up and be prepared to be AMAZED, in my opinion.”(read full review)

“I don't know how Morgan does it, each book in her Deadlines & Diamonds Series just gets better and better. I found that I could so relate to Ian, (having liked boys in that past that were with other girls), because I know first hand how it feels to want someone that you can not have. That is another reason why I love Morgan's books because she has a way of making her stories relateable to everyone.
Ian McCallister is the HOT Photojournalist who lives next door to the picture perfect family known as the Black's. From the first moment Ian sets his eyes on Kayla Black he knows his heart is lost to her. BUT, Ian has principles and even though he longs for Kayla and loves spending time with her three children he would never do anything to break up her happy home she has with her husband Leon.
Kayla Black has the perfect life, she is married to the man of her dreams Leon and has three wonderful children she adores. The only hitch in their idealistic life is that Leon has a very dangerous job. Leon being a cop always left Kayla a little worried but she never let it come between them.
Ian and Kayla's world gets turned upside down by a random drug dealers bullet. Kayla is beyond consoling and Ian just wants to do everything in his power to help her get through this nightmare. All Kayla wants to do is curl up in a ball and cry for her lost love. Ian wants nothing more than to be there for her and her children until she can pick up the pieces of her life and carry on.
This book tugged at my heart from beginning to end. I felt for both Kayla in her despair and for Ian who can help who he has fallen in love with. On the one hand I wanted to root for Ian to get his love but I felt conflicted because I didn't want it to come about the way it did with Leon's death. Ian and Kayla's story was bittersweet and filled with ups and downs to keep me glued throughout the whole story. I can't say anymore without ruining this story for everyone. On a scale from 1-10 I give Hard Break a 10. It had all the elements I have grown to love in a Morgan Kearns story and keeps me wanting more. If you are looking for a good read that will pull at your heart and keep you rooting for their Happily Ever After than this book is for you. If you are a fan of Morgan Kearns and her Deadlines & Diamonds Series. than this book is a must have. If you are looking for a great new to you author to read than Morgan Kearns is the author for you. Pick up a copy of Hard Break (and all her books in this series if you don't have them already) and let Kayla and Ian bare their souls to you and warm your heart in the process.”

“Eugenia is a strong confident woman who knows what she wants, and what she doesn't want. The matriarch of the Burnett sons, Eugenia has made it her business to find partners for her three sons. Now that the tables have turned and her daughters-in-law are matchmaking Eugenia with Wyatt, Eugenia wants nothing to do with love. Especially when it includes Wyatt. Eugenia's character was so comical. Getting every single available woman to ply Wyatt with more casseroles than he knows what to do with, is enough to drive him crazy. There is only one way to take care of Eugenia and that is to take matters into his own hands. When it comes to Wyatt and Eugenia, I find myself grinning at the repartee. What a sweet and touching love story.
The Christmas Bride is a delightful and dazzling read written by a very talented author. I have never read any of Ms. McDaniel's books. However, after reading the story description, I found myself anxious to snuggle up to my first Sylvia McDaniel romance. The romance between Eugenia and Wyatt, did not disappoint and even had some unexpected turns that turned out to be quite steamy. After reading their touching love story, I can't wait to read the rest of the books in the series. If you are looking for an intriguing story line laced with humor and enchanting characters, look no further than The Christmas Bride by Sylvia McDaniel. ”
