Thanks Christafari, I appreciate it.
"The Shadow of the Wind" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon is a wonderful coming-of-age story so I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Also, there is a sequel: "The Angel's Game."
I see you're reading The Shadow of the Wind. It's been on my TBR list forever. I can't wait to hear what you think of it!
I just Google mapped it and it's about 3-3 1/2 hours of driving between us. That's a hop, skip and a jump for me after living in MT all my life! Yay! That sounds amazing to me! I'm so excited for this summer!
Hi Christafari, I forget the name of your city in Vermont. I was poking around on Google to see how far of a drive it would be for me to go to Vermont (it's on my state bucket list to visit) and visit you at some point this summer. That is, if you are open to meeting up!
Thank you for the friending, your kind words, and support for encouraging young people to read. I am looking forward to your comments and recommendations......
I have missed you in the groups -- yes, be brave and join us for discussion. It's not the same without you. I know what you mean about having a hard time settling into books lately. Same here!
I just read your review of The Red Garden and it makes me want to read it all the more! I loved The Red Violin, and you know how I feel about anything set in Mass. or New England. :) Glad you enjoyed it. How's Christafari these days?
I just saw your post about what happened while you were away! That is awful! I hope the mess is getting cleaned up and you're able to focus on some relaxing things like reading and enjoying the holiday season now. Have the police been at all helpful to you? I really hope the culprit(s) is/are caught and brought to justice.
I hope you had a wonderful trip to Jamaica. I have been so envious of your warm-weather getaway. I don't know when you were supposed to come back, but I thought it was supposed to be soon. We have missed you in the group. I'm trying to get caught up so we can discuss Whose Body. :) Talk soon, I hope!
Aww, thanks, Christafari. I'd love to chat about this book, but there's no telling when I'll get to it. Hopefully some time this winter! I will let you know when I get to it as it sounds very fascinating and thought-provoking. Thanks for visiting my blog. You're welcome there anytime. I can't think of a thing at the moment, but thanks so much for the offer!
I see that you just finished Stiff. For some reason, I have not been able to get to it, but it's been on my TBR list and in my e-book library for quite a while now. I am glad you read and enjoyed it. I enjoyed reading your review. It will be nice to know that when I can get to it, I will have someone to chat with about it.
Hey Christafari, Halo and I started a new group called Slippery Fish Island where we like to talk about good book, music and film. You might like it, come check it out, see what you think. If you do like it, feel free to join in and say howdy.
Glad to haveyour comments and questions. I don't admire Ernest Hemingway as a man. I loved many of his works, especially The Old Man and the Sea.
That's not a problem. Now I think I have the official numbers to actually have an ego. Five more people and I can start a blog!
