Dystopian YA is big right now, and I have really embraced a lot of the great writing currently happening. I LOVE reading old-Hollywood biographies. I find that I learn a lot about the culture of the times through these books. I teach "The Crucible," and these biographies also give me an interesting view of the McCarthy witch hunts of the 1950s.

Recently completed a Master's in Library and Informational Sciences, hoping to transition from a classroom into a school library.

I read a variety of books - from picture books to YA to adult. I am an eclectic reader always looking for new and interesting authors/books. « less
