“I re-read this for a school project. This book starts when Raina was smiling for the orthodontist. He tells her she needs braces. She goes to girl scouts and tell them she needs braces. One of the girls starts naming thing you cant eat and Raina thinks that she will stop biting her nails. When she is going home she knocks out her two front teeth by tripping. Her teeth come out wrong and they have to put white stuff on her teeth. When she arrives everybody is asking her questions. She goes thought the rest of the middle school dealing with tooth and boy drama. At her first day of high school she gets pants-ed and is mortified. She ditches her old friend and goes on to new friends, witch never judge her and are nice. She leaves her freshmen year with perfect teeth. My thoughts on this book is that it is really good and on a scale of 1-10 it is 10. The reason I like this book so much is because it is a funny story of how a girl getting braces turns to teeth, friends, and boy trouble. It also so such a funny book. One of the funniest lines is the book is when Raina is in a dream. She loses her tooth, and cant find it. Later she cuts out a jumbo size tooth and when she put it under her pillow she gets a card from the tooth fairy and she says "How come this handwriting looks like dads?" I really love this book.
I really recamend this book to anybody that can read it. It may be to hard for 3rd graders to read but 4th grader would most likely be fine. I think that even if you old you could read this book. Its so funny and fun that at any age you could read it. The reason a think anybody that is able to read it should because the in the book it goes though middle school to high school. So many people can relate. I really recamend this book to anybody that can read it. ”
