How have you been?JASS!
Ummm, Carrie, you have over five hundred books on your shelf. You are one erudite swamp monster.
I've only just begun my shelf. This is fun to do! Brings back so many memories. Thanks Carrie.
Thanks so much for joining Women Speak. We wouldn't be the same without you. We find your voice so valuable and appreciate you much here.
Welcome to Better than Starbucks! Look around, make yourself at home, start a new thread or dig up an old one or just read and jump in on the more active ones. What is a swamp monster? you look like a cute girl to this old man, but maybe swamp monsters are like the mythological sirens?:)
Dear Carrie: You don't look like a swamp monster. I just took my twin boys to see the Hulk. That's me trying to get an agent. You have a large book shelf. I hope you might be able to squeeze my book onto one of them. It's called HUNTING THE KING. If once you've climbed out of your swamp and cleaned off all the mud you have time to look for it, there is an excellent YouTube book trailer well worth the watching. If that doesn't hook you, nothing I say will. Thanks. Peter
what have u been up 2?
Hi!
"Regeneration" is the first book of a trilogy which includes "Eye in the Door" and "Ghost Road." I have not read either, but have them on my wish list. I have written a novel, Pemberley Remembered, and part of my research included Craiglockhart, the setting for "Regeneration." You may want to visit my website, www.pemberleyremembered.com. In any event, I'm glad that you read the "Regeneration," and you are right, it is very timely. Mary Simonsen
yes book thief is very very good... my personal favourite... enjoy reading it... hope to read ur comments once u read it...
100 books. hah.
hey and thank you for the note. I do agree that from what I've heard, most people my age should wait to read the book, but since I do believe I am mature for my age and books like that, I might give a try, maybe next year. I have a lot of books sitting in my room, new books, waiting to be read, without any chance or time, so when I'm done with those I will deff. read The Memoirs of a Geisha. Thanks.
Anyone who likes the Runaway Bunny has to be more than a swamp monster. Enjoyed seeing your books.
WELL-- I HAVEN'T!
Still-- within a couple of days you had about 300 books on your shelf o.o
Oh ok, I totally understand, thanks for being honest. What age would you recommend it for?
You surprisinly were one of the few that said I shouldn't read the Memoirs of a Geisha. Any particular reason? Just wondering why... Thanks
