    Vile Verses

    by Roald Dahl
    • Rated 5 stars

Vile Verse (2005) is a humorous book of poetry by Roald Dahl. He is best remembered as the author of many well-loved children's stories. But he was also the creator of some astonishingly imaginative and wonderfully disgusting verses. This book is an extraordinary collection with Dahl's poems, verses, and songs. It is filled with almost all poems he wrote during his career and even some from child hood!

Vile Verses has made me laugh a lot, but still be aware of disgustingly-funny rhymes. (But most of them are not so disgusting, they are mostly funny).

The full-color original illustrations from a well-established group of more than twenty artists like Quentin Blake, R. Dahl's principal illustrator make this book very special and exiting. I LOVE Vile Verses and I will always love it, and I hope you will also enjoy it too.

  • The Giraffe, The Pelly and Me
    • Rated 4 stars

The giraffe and the pelly and me is a book with small poems, rhymes, and songs. In fact I've read it at least 5 times just because I LOVE the poems and songs in that book! But it is rather short, and if there where chapters it would be easier to find where you stopped. So, for that reason I give it 4 star. But that doesn't mean it's bad. Now you read and see!

  • Ghosthunters And The Totally Moldy Baroness! (Ghosthunters)
    • Rated 5 stars

Ghost hunters is one of my favorite series. It is mysterious, scary, and a good book to read when you're a scary stories fan. And it's not only scary and mystery, it's funny! Hugo the ghost is really the joker in the story.
So what are you waiting for, read it!

  • Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes
    • Rated 5 stars

Revolting ryhmes is a book with a humour. It is ridiculously funny and makes old, dull fairy tales be the funniest story ever heard! The story is writen poetic, which means it is a story with ryhmes and couplets and all other things a poem has. Revolting ryhmes also uses good adjectives. So get that book in your hands and start reading!!!

The twits is a very funny story. I like it because it is mischievous, funny-disgusting, and just the idea of it. Even though it is pretty thin it is a great story.
