Tony Sarg is my grandmother's uncle. This is a charming book about how he created the first animated Christmas displays in Macy's windows, and the first balloons to appear in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

I adore this play. I read it at least once a year.

Fascinating! The explanations and theories behind "technology-induced ADD" are sound and well documented. This book should be an inspiration for all who wish to regain the deep-thinking and focus that books used to inspire.

A controversial book when first published, and still today. Despite the disturbing subject matter, this is a superbly written book.

Disappointing. I had heard great buzz, even comparisons with David Sedaris. Unfortunately, I rarely laughed aloud, let alone chuckled.

I've recommended this book to a dozen people, none of whom have liked it as much as I did. They say it's too depressing. Yes....and? It's not just me. The Pulitzer Prize committee liked it too!
