Hi Cheryl,
I just finished WHALE SONG, and I wanted to tell you that it is a wonderful book. I read it in a matter of hours. I think it would appeal to all ages, the story is so good, and I was not prepared for the ending. But, it is just right. I have a 12 year old granddaughter, and I am wondering if it would be apprpriate for her?What do you think? I appreciate you being able to tell a good story without resorting to sex or violence. Thank you!

Hi Cheryl, I just want to tell you that I was able to pick up WHALE SONG last night from the library. I can't wait to read it. It sounds very good. I have to finish the book I am reading before I start yours, but I will read fast, so I can get at it. The reviews are excellent.

I did just check the library, and they did get one book, which is in the New Books section. Of course, I can't reserve a book that is on the shelf, so I will have to hope it's still there when I get there this evening. Thanks for your help.

Cheryl, just wanted you to know that the book arrived and I have begun reading. I love the description of the new home from the first chapter. I would close my eyes and imagine the scene. You most certainly thave a gift to tell a story a reader can envision along the journey. I love what I have read so far. I will keep you informed. I am not a fast reader. I like to take my time to get into the setting and the characters. I totally love to read and get involved in the plot. Thank you again for the present you have given me. You are a treasure!!!
