    also read the levy book w/documentary enclosed.
    i think i've read all levy he published, or at least
    has survived. can you imagine how great he'd
    been if he'd lived. that is, if he hadn't burned out
    as so many good young writers do.

    reading beats in india right now. just finished ringolevio
    by emmett grogan though i'd read it yrs ago.
    good look how the 60s really went down.
    none of that flower power nonsense. also
    back at artaud after watching a short documentary
    on youtube. book on chicano art, a lot
    of slajov zizek, paul virillio, baudrilaird, foucault,
    derrick jensen, john zerzan.
    usually read 3-4 books at once. not
    literally. although that might be intersting.
    cld loosen the up the muse who has rebuffed
    me of late.

    great reads. haven't read many female writers.
    why? not sure. too much testosterone run
    amuck? maybe in the past. except for kathy acker,
    patti smith, a few others, you. not sure if you have
    babel here but it's smith's best that i've read.
    any suggestions?
