“For most of the book I didn't really see the point of the story. In the end you see how everything he learned helped him defeat the bad guy. I just felt like I was pushing myself to read it. The language the author used wasn't bad, the momentum and language of the story was lost on me. Just not my style. ”

“I really like the story. I am a sucker for the protector-romance relationship. The coincidences that are used to solve problems and move the story along are a bit annoying because of how easy they are. Not a lot of language which I appreciate. Jace is hilarious in his confidence and Clary's sarcasm makes me laugh. Enjoyable. I am excited to move on to the next book. ”

Ender's Game

“Very well written. A lot of psychoanalysis and fighting. It was funny as a woman to peer into a man's world and way of thinking. Very interesting story. You feel bad for Ender. He is the reluctant servant. He was bred to become the ultimate commander and savior of the world. He hated killing, but he was a genius in strategy. He solved every problem that was set before him. ”
