Wuthering Heights is slow, as always. I get the urge to read it every few years, but I don't think I have the time to devote to it right now. It's way too complex and the language isn't very easy for me to plow through like I normally prefer to. I'm having to choose from the few books I don't have packed away right now. I may have to find a friend whose bookshelf I can raid. :)

I promise you won't!! It reads so fast, even if you don't love it (which would surprise me) it's not a big time sucker. :) I finally got to see the movie last week. So good, but the book has even more.

No, I think it's just the one book. Paulo Coelhlo has written a bunch of books and some of them are similar in style (parable/fable), but I don't think The Alchemist has an actual sequel or anything.

I read The Alchemist years and years ago, and I do remember really liking it. Paul recommended it to me while we were dating. It's fiction, but in kind of a fable format. Like you can get a lot of deep truths about life when reading it. Ok, that makes it sound lame. It's really not... but I can't tell you much else because it's just been too long. :) Give it a try though. If I remember, it's a pretty short book and reads quickly.

Why is it doing that? I type something, and it immediately posts, but then tells me I haven't posted. DUMB!

I have now, and I of course agree. I need more Jace in my life. :) Oh and when did the second Twilight graphic come out. Man, school is keeping me WAY out of the loop....

Hmm, good question... If you want to see all the reviews by a specific friend, you can click on their shelf and sort by "Review." I guess you could probably find a specific book from there. When I click on the book and then on "See reviews by people you follow" (on the right side) it brings up my friends' reviews first. On a book that doesn't have any reviews written by my friends, that option isn't even there and when I try to sort the reviews by "friends first", nothing happens. Maybe the book you're looking at doesn't have any reviews written by your friends?

Well, I'm not reading reading it yet... I tend to put all to-be-read books currently in my possession on my reading list. I will still probably finish GWTW first. Let me know if you need it back, I would hate for Katy to die waiting for someone else to finish. :)

Rick Riordan is writing a new series about Egyptian mythology! The first book is called The Red Pyramid and is out May 4. (He's also writing the next camp half-blood series... first book due this fall...)
