Well, I'm currently reading book #81 for the year. That means I have 19 to go after this. I still don't think I'll make it to 100. Unless I find a bunch of short books. I just picked up a couple by Kate DiCamillo. (I've read a few of hers before, like The Tale of Despereaux, and they're fairly short.) Even with a bunch of short books though... 19 books is a lot to read in just over a month! We'll see!

strange angels, but now that I remember it, I think I thought it was too out there for you. Seems like it was a little more scary than I thought you would like. But I mean its a kids book.

I finished blood promise last night despite my need to do homework, needless to say I am going to have an aneurysm if you don't catch up with me. No joke, my mouth will not stay shut much longer.

If you want a good historical fiction book to try... I just finished reading The Queen's Soprano by Carol Dines. I really enjoyed it. It's based on actual people (Queen Christina of Sweden, Pope Innocent XI, etc) in the late 1600s. It's a young adult book, so it's a pretty easy read. Hey! It's great to hear from you!! I started this site back when I joined a book club too. I've found several good books off of what my friends have read.
