I'm 32, married, a full-time student and a book enthusiast! In the fall I'll be in my third year of college. Currently I'm applying to schools and waiting to see what type of financial aid I'll be able to get before I make my decision as to which online school to attend. Upon completion of my bachelor's I plan to attend law school. My... more »

This is one of my favorite vampire books and series because I absolutely love the mythology Melissa De La Cruz has created surrounding vampirism. She has taken a unique and interesting slant on where vampires come from and how they continue their existence in this world. I'll admit the characters can be a little annoying at times, but if you're into vamps this book is worth checking out for the mythology alone.

I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked this book. It's a story of a thirty-ish woman trying to make peace with her life and lack of husband and family. The surrounding characters add to the overall story making the plot thicker and richer as a result. Many of the problems she faces other women can relate to, and yet there is still an element of originality woven through the storyline that makes it slightly different than other books I've read. Well written, strong plot, solid characters, I would totally recommend this book to anyone who's a fan of chick lit, and even those who aren't.

This book was a good concept, but not executed very well. I have enjoyed tremendously other Emily Giffin books, and was excited when this one came out, but it left me a little unfulfilled to say the least. It was well written, but the characters were a little lack luster. It wasn't my favorite by any means, but it's a decent read if you should come across it.

Wow, this book was killer. I find myself recommending it to just about everyone I know. The story and plot are incredibly gripping! I could not put it down! The characters add a lot to the overall storyline, but I have to admit, I didn't particularly like any of them a whole lot. That said, the overall angst I felt toward them pulled me along in the story like a magnetic force. I was simply drawn to them and their flaws. The story itself is of a semi-controversial nature, which only adds to the drama of the plot. It was one of those books that when you're done, you just kind of sit there dumb struck. Also, beware as so many Jodi Picoult novels are, it's a tear-jerker.

I loved this book. It was a random purchase one day at Walgreen's and it turned out to be fantastic. The story is original in that each chapter alternates the perspectives of the two main characters, which really gives it a unique slant. Set in London the story surrounds to people in a marriage trying to find their way individually and together. They say there are two sides to every story and this book gives you the opportunity to see that play out before your eyes.

I totally enjoyed this book! It was extremely easy to read, I read the whole book in less than 24 hours. It has a solid storyline, which integrates each of the characters and their consequent relationships with each other nicely. If you're into chick lit, I would definitely check this one out.

I absolutely loved this book, which actually I was surprised by because I despised the main character Darcy in the previous book, Something Borrowed. It has a great plot and storyline that enables you to watch her growth throughout the book. It is incredibly well written, before I knew it, a hundred pages had gone by. I also like that it's set in London, but then I love anything even remotely British. The other characters were very well suited for the story as well.
