The books on my shelves cover about 50 years worth of reading and its been a fascinating exercise compiling the list, which is still far from finished. About every 10 years I can see a distinct shift in authors & interests which reflects not only the writing of the times but also my own journey of life from youth to middle age and the realisation that one should never take anything one reads at face value :-)
