Shadow: The main character, Shadow is a convicted criminal who plans on keeping his head down when he is released. However, upon his release a bizarre chain of events with a supernatural spin changes his plans as he becomes involved in a war between the Gods of old and some new usurpers.
Shadow: Same character from the full-length novel "American Gods" by Gaiman, makes an appearance in "Monarch in the Glen" as an addendum to "American Gods."

Shadow: The enigmatic Shadow makes his first appearance in the middle of book one. Not much is revealed about Shadow's role in Grace's destiny but much is discovered about his role in her past. The full story of Shadow and Grace's destiny isn't fully revealed until the conclusion of Grace and the Drawl Invasion of Earth. Shadow is much older than Boot and knows much more than he lets on about the creatures beneath the city and the Drawl everyone is fighting. Shadow is a master swordsman and very handy with a long bow.
Shadow: A young, courageous stallion chosen by The Great Horse to father the Light Horse. He is Sierra's best freind.
Shadow: Shadow is the common title of Torronterrios, the man covered head to toe in black. Some consider his title to be an acronym for 'Speed, haste, agility, dexterity, over-whelm' (so he's really fast).
