Robert Mcclure: A Canadian missionary who was born to missionary parents and spent most of his youth in China. His father was Canadian and his mother was American . He graduated from the University of Toronto's medical school in 1922 and returned to China as a medical missionary in 1923, working at the United Church of Canada Mission Hospital in Henan province. After was erupted between China and Japan in 1937, he engaged in relief work in southwest China.
