   Olivia Joules: Olivia Joules is a freelance reporter who lost her parents at an early age. She learnt early that the world can be a cruel place and so has developed her Rules for Living, mantras that she repeats to herself in times of stress. She is a really fun character with a very active imagination, who imagines that horrible things are happening all around her all the time. What is fun about this book is that in this case, she happens to be right. Olivia is adventurous and smart, but, like Fielding's famous character Bridget Jones, she often runs into trouble of her own making.
