   Nicolas Jack Crystan (aka Nick): A spiritually lost twenty four year old who is yearning for something bigger and better to come his way. He has hardly any money, only works part time, most his relationships have broken down, and he's hung up on the past: his mother's disappearance. At the beginning of the story, he has a vision of a woman falling to her death, and later on he manages to save her life. This leads to a chain of events where he unravels the mystery surrounding his mum's disappearance, and also ends up an accomplice to the murder of Aldrich. Along the way he falls for Juliet Maystone, but after the death of Aldrich, she doesn't want anything to do with him. It does allow him to consider dating again though, he also ends up with a full-time job, better relationships with most of his family and friends, and a sense of balance to his life. For the time being, at least.
