The Tapestry: Book 3The Fiend and the Forge

Max McDaniels: Male protagonist. Max is supposedly sixteen in the beginning of the book, but turns eighteen towards the end. Max has Old Magic in his blood, which makes him very powerful. He is somewhat of a demi-god because his father was a king of the Sidh, but his mother was mortal. Because Max does not like how Rowan has turned after Astoroth got the Book of Thoth, he sets off in a journey across the seas to see how the rest of the world was affected by Astoroth's rule. During his time in the Blys, he became the protecter of the weak, an assassin, and the champion gladiator. He eventually gets the spear of Cuchlean repaired by a giant and becomes virtually invincible. During the last battle, Max became so caught up in the fight that he became a demon, and killed thousands of them. David eventually calls Max back to his human body, saving him from himself. In the end of the book, he is back at Rowan.
