Lehi: Prophet instructed to leave Jerusalem around 600 B.C before babylonians conquered Israel.
Lehi: The father of Nephi who led the family into the wilderness.
Lehi: Lehi is a teenage boy from Monticello, Utah, who is thankful for this challenging role, but tired of having to explain his name to ignorant gentiles. Following the lead of innumerable adolescents, he blames his parents for this worst of travesties. Lehi was a Mormon Prophet whose son Nephi was urged by God, around 500 B.C., to sail from the Middle East, across the Atlantic Ocean, to found the Nephite civilization in Central America. Mormons believe that after the resurrection, Jesus took a prolonged working holiday in the New World to teach the Nephites Christianity.
