Julius Erving: This book tells the story of the short lived American Basketball Association or the ABA. In the 70’s the ABA was formed to rival the NBA. It offered a number of different and wild changes to the game. The NBA officially got rid of the ABA, but its affects on basketball today are more apparent than ever. The ABA introduced a lot of the flash the current NBA has today, along with the three-point shot and the slam dunk contest.
