She was bitten by the wolf pack when she was 11 and Sam was 12 however due to being locked in a car during a hot day her transformation into a wolf was halted and she remained human. However Grace does have the senses of sound and smell like that of a wolf and slight healing capabilities, though nowhere to the extent of Sam.

Very compassionate to others, but doesn't respect her parents given their lack of parental presence in her life. She essentially was forced to raise herself since her parents acted like teenagers without any parental responsibilities.
