Enna: Enna a headstrong Forest girl who worked in the city for several years, and befriended Isi. She insists she does not love Finn until much later in the book. She learns how to control fire, until it begins controlling her.
Enna: Horace's half-sister who is younger than Elsie but her greatest tormenter
Enna: Enna a gifted fire speaker who burned most of the Tiran army during the war. Enna has a sharp tongue and is very outgoing, and is Razo's best friend. She volunteers to go to Tira in an attempt to prove that she can be useful for something besides destroying. She is in love with Finn but their relationship is strained throughout most of the book due both to Enna's refusal to marry Finn and the fact that Finn "won't make a fool of himself" for her. In the end of the book, however, Finn proposes to Enna one last time at the farewell banquet and she gladly and tearfully accepts, indicating that her character has matured since the beginning of the story.
Enna: A girl in the country Bayern, whom Ani befriended under the name Isi. She is Ani's best friend and knows the truth about her.
Enna: Isi's best friend and betrothed to Finn. Enna has the gifts of Fire and Wind speaking. Likes to kick people in the shins.
Enna: A fire witch, who nearly dies from the power before she also learns to speak the language of wind. Friend to razo and Isi. Married/Engaged to Finn
