Detective Sherbet: He is assigned to Fulcrums shooting case. He closes the case, but has his suspicions. In his report he states that the shooting was a random act of violence, but that is because there is no other evidence to say otherwise. He is sixty-seven, a fit man with a cops built and a cop’s mustache. He has a son who is eight years old, leans towards being gay and this is upsetting the manly man in Detective Sherbet. He guesses the first time he meets Samantha that she is a vampire, but dismisses it because that just can’t be.
Detective Sherbet: The detective who was working the original missing person case of Willie Clarke. As far as he was concerned Willie died from an accident and had closed the case. Sherbet is a big man with a cop mustache. He's a mans man and is struggling with his young son's tendencies towards being gay. Knighthorse and Sherbet have history from another case.
