  1. Watership Down: Book 1

    Watership Down

    by Richard Adams

Bigwig: A large and powerful rabbit and a new member of the Sandleford Owsla (fighting clique of buck rabbits). He is named "Thlayli" (fur-head) because of the unusual tuft of fur between his ears. Bigwig joins Hazel and Fiver in their exodus from Sandleford Warren. Of the exile band, he is the the biggest and most fearless fighter. Impulsive and hot-blooded, he is less comfortable giving orders. Although stubborn and prone to anger and impatience, he proves himself to be a true hero and legendary fighter of cats, rats and the imposing General Woundwort. The safety of the warren is often placed in Bigwig's hands and his courage prevails. He is made Captain of Owsla for Watership Down - largely thanks to his fighting skills and strong spirit.

    Memorable Quotes by Bigwig:

“"Siflay hraka, u embleer Rah." (Roughly: Eat shit, you pathetic king.)”

  2. Afflatus

    by C. R. Endacott
