“Rise up, Sir Peter Wolf’s-Bane. And, whatever happens, never forget to wipe your sword.”
“Once a King or Queen of Narnia, always a King or Queen of Narnia.”
“All shall be done. But it may be harder than you think.”
“Once the feet are put right, all the rest of him will follow.”
Aslan: The Great Lion, son of the Emperor-Over-the-Sea, true lord over all Narnia.
Aslan: The Great Lion, who puts an end to Narnia and brings its people to their true home.
“They have chosen cunning instead of belief. Their prison is only in their own minds, yet they are in that prison; and so afraid of being taken in that they cannot be taken out.”
“The term is over: the holidays have begun. The dream is ended: this is the morning.”
Aslan: Also known as The Great Lion, The true king of Narnia and The Son of the Emperor over the Sea, Aslan enters the story directly from time to time to give the various visitors in Narnia directions or help when they need it. Sometimes he doesn't, and it won't help asking or trying to force him. After all, he's not a TAME lion. Sings Narnia into creation. In the children's world, he has another name
Aslan: The Lion of Narnia.
“I was the lion who forced you to join with Aravis. I was the cat who comforted you among the houses of the dead. I was the lion who drove jackals from you while you slept. I was the lion who gave the Horses the new strength of fear for the last mile so that you should reach King Lune in time. And I was the lion you do not remember who pushed the boat in which you lay, a child near death, so that it came to shore where a man sat, wakeful at midnight, to receive you.”
“Child, I am telling you your story, not hers. I tell no one any story but his own.”
“"Who are you?" asked Shasta. "Myself," said the voice, very deep and low so that the earth shook: and again, "Myself," loud and clear and gay: and then the third time "Myself," whispeered so softly you could hardly hear it, and yet it seemed to come from all round you as if the leaves rustled with it.”
“Child...no one is ever told what would have happened.”
“I call all times soon.”
“But there I have another name.”
“And thats the last thing I didn't hear from her”
Aslan: The Great Lion of Narnia. The son of the Emperor Beyond The Sea.
“Here on the mountain, the air is clear and your mind is clear; as you drop down into Narnia, the air will thicken. Take great care that it does not confuse your mind. And the signs which you have learned here will not look at all as you expect them to look, when you meet them there. That is why it is so important to know them by heart and pay no attention to appearances. Remember the signs and believe the signs. Nothing else matters.”
Aslan: The great Lion and creator of Narnia.
“Creatures, I give you yourselves. I give to you for ever the land of Narnia. I give you the woods, the fruits, the rivers. I give you the stars and I give you myself. The Dumb Beasts whom I have not chosen are yours also. Treat them gently and cherish them but do not go back to their ways lest you cease to be Talking Beasts. For out of them you were taken and into them you can return. Do not so.”
“Laugh and fear not, creatures. Now that you are no longer dumb and witless you need not always be grave. For jokes as well as justice come in with speech.”
“My son, my son. I know. Grief is great. Only you and I in this land know that yet. Let us be good to one another.”
“Oh, Adam's sons, how cleverly you defend yourselves against all that might do you good!”
“All get what they want; they do not always like it.”
“But I cannot tell that to this old sinner, and I cannot comfort him either; he has made himself unable to hear my voice.”
“That is what happens to those who pluck and eat fruits at the wrong time and in the wrong way. The fruit is good, but they loathe it ever after.”
Aslan: Yuri's horse; A coal black stallion who shows an almost human intelligence at times. He doesn't let anyone but Yuri ride him
