Celestial Willow

Celestial Willow

I'm not sure what I love more - reading books or writing lists of books!

I don't think I need tell you about me, just go and have a look at my shelf and you'll see the books I read, the recurring authors, the lucky handful of books that I've given hearts.

I also like cups of tea, scrapbooking & ostrich burgers. Make of that...

I see you like Iain Banks Sci-Fi without being a complete sci-fi nut- that´s a good thing. Can you recommend any other similar authors in this genre?

Prisoner of Birth: a compulsive and addictive read that I finished in no time at all. My wife also read it in the same vein and we both thoroughly enjoyed the book. His characters are very real and you strike uop a real affection for the protagonists. It's not liker investing in reading War and Peace! While J Archer is a scoundrel I have always enjoyed listening to him on TV and radio and while forgetting his worst antics he's a phenomenal person. Let me know what you think.

Prisoner of Birth, I feel is one of Archer's `so-so' books. If you have read Kane and Able and As the crow flies and all of that, dont expect just as much from this one.

I may be the wrong person to ask about Jeffrey Archer's books because I love his works--but, yes, I would read both Prisoner of Birth and Paths of Glory.

    Hello! :)
I wish you could take pictures of book covers yourself and upload them. I have some really old books and this doesn't have the covers for them. :(
