I'm a high school Engish teacher. I love books and I love to find new authors. When I find an author I like, I tend to read all of his or her books, then move to another.

Hi Charlotte! I read Drowning Ruth a longtime ago, and I remember that it was "weird" but I'd read it again!

Hey! Glad to hear from you. I've been in a reading mode lately. Read "Atonement" (enjoyed!) and now want to see the movie. Also read "Love in the Time of Cholea" (also enjoyed...but wordy!), and now I'm reading "The Emperor's Children" and think it's going to be an easy read. So what's up with you?

I actually put down A Thousand Splendid Suns to read Harry Potter. I'm going to pick it back up today. I started reading Harry Potter several years ago and felt the same way you did then, but this time I stuck with it and happened to adore it. Now, I want to read them all--and very soon, in fact! Hope your year is good and you get to sneak in some pleasure reading on the side.

I agree with you completely! What are you reading now? I know I'm behind, but I just started reading the first Harry Potter. Chris assures me I can burn through them. I'm a fast reader when I want to be. :) I made him promise not to tell me how the series ends.
