I was never much of a reader in school. I read comic by the ton, but novels were always such a chore. One day my Senior year I was buying comics and decided to grab the new King novel, "The Dark Half", while I was at it. I read it in three days and I've been reading non-stop ever since.

"The Dark Half" had another effect on me as well. I've been writing horror since 1991 (www.cdennismoore.com), but as much as I love writing, sometimes I just want to sit with a good book and do that instead. If only there was some job that paid well enough and required me to do nothing but read all day. I think I could handle that. « less
