I'm a reference librarian at the Twinsburg Public Library. I'll read just about anything, but my favorite genres are chick lit, suspense, literary novels, fantasy/science fiction, memoir, gender/relationship studies, essays, and short stories.

I loved Prada but her other ones definitely haven't stacked up.

I honestly don't even remember that much! Are you going to read the new Lauren Weisberger? I read a couple of reviews and they weren't too good.

Honestly, I fly through anything Janet Evanovich writes and then I have no recollection what it was about within a few days. I do remember Stephanie didn't blow up as many cars as she usually does. :) I do eagerly await all of her books though.
I loved Heart of the Matter. It was so much better than Love the One Your With but still doesn't compare to her first two.

How is Fly Away Home? I had it out but returned it becuase I have so many other books out. Don't you just hate when all of your reserved books come in at the same time?

Put a copy specific hold on mine and you can keep it as long as you need. You can tank it out in an afternoon.

You should read Scandal Sheet by Gemma Halliday (I will warn you that the cover of the book has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PLOT, so it's not a cheesey Harlequin, even though it looks like it). It's the new series from the author of the "High Heels" mysteries. Plus, there's a part in the middle that totally reminded me of you and I almost spit out my juice.

Hi Cari! My husband found your blog recording where you mentioned my upcoming novel AS IT WAS WRITTEN, and I discovered that you are the Twinsburg librarian I friended on Shelfari! The internet is an amazing thing. Thanks for talking about my book, and I can promise you I never saw the movie or read a book with the curse, so I promise mine will be different. I wanted to let you know I have just started a blog where I discuss this book and the one I am writing now, the literary process and other things at random. I'd love to see you there.

I tried to make a comment there, but it wouldn't let me. It wouldn't show the visual verification so I wasn't able to send it to you as a blog comment. I was so happy to hear you and your friend excited about the premise of my upcomng novel. I look forward to meeting you one day.

Thanks so much...cb1281! I really do hope you like my book, please let me know if you do and SAY ABSOLUTELY NOTHING if you don't. I am working on one right now, a very different story which I hope to have done in several months, rather than years. We'll see what happens with that one. If you like my book, please spread the love! They only let you publish if you sell, unfortunately, so I'll do whatever I need to do to sell in Twinsburg. if you throw a party and invite me up, I'll come, I'll read, I'll sign, I'll sing and I'll dance and I'll tell story after story. Thanks so much for publically acknowledging my debut novel. I really appreciate it. And I am not kidding, you throw a book party, I'm there! May our paths cross in person one day.

I'm only about 100 pages into The Help but I really like it. It took me all this time to get it :)

My boss's 15 year old daughter recommended Thirteen Reasons Why, and she's got a good track records on recommendations. She gave me Coraline a year or so ago and it was amazing. So many books I want to read and so many people giving me books like an agent just gave me a bio on Robert E. Lee and a co-worker gave me Life of Pi. Did Katherine give any interesting tidbits about Deliverance Dane or hints on future books?

Getting the kids to sign up for a skype chat with a YA author is on my list of projects. I'll let you know how The Help is. I should probably reserve it now :)
