I am a retired French/English/ESL teacher. Had to leave on disability. I love language, learning about other cultures, reading, and recently began to delve into my family genealogy. My relationship with Jesus Christ is extremely important to me. Music is my passion, especially Christian music in most genres.

    Sorry for the long wait on a reply. I don't get on Shelfari as much as I probably should and the past few weeks with the surgery have kept me busy as well. The surgery was successful and I was release the first week of June, then the next week I went to have the stitches removed and there was a problem discovered which required I go back in. I got out this past Friday. Things are going well now. I have a nurse, physical therapist and occupational therapist coming to the house and I get the stitches removed on June 27 (hopefully). I couple more weeks after that and I should be allowed to drive. Woo hoo! Can't wait for that! :-)

    Yes the wish list just seems to explode LOL. The problm is how do I read all the ones I already have to read and all the new ones coming out or old ones that I am just discovering plus all the new or recent ones I am reviewing...

    If you figure that out before me let me know, huh.

    But yes I do read ALOT and want MORE TIME to read if I could figure out how to make that happen. Oh well at least I am keeping up with the review posts sort of.

    I just wanted to let readers know that ABANDONED IDENTITY is now available in hardcover in the CROSSINGS book club. It will be the featured alternate in the Nov. 20th catalog. This will be my first hardcover book so I am very excited.

    Just read your review on The Reliance. Wasn't it good!! I sure enjoyed the entire series and was sad to hear there would not be a fourth. The Restitution was my favorite. Happy reading!
