I live in Kansas and I am 36 years old. I love to read and my favorites authors are Johanna Lindsey, Elizabeth Lowell and Iris Johannsen. But I have also found that I enjoy Christine Feehan's Dark Series, Nicole Jordan and Robin Schone. I fell in love with romance novels as a young teenager, and branched out into paranormal romance. I am always... more »

Kind of got sidetracked with this book because I have been following the tv sereis True Blood. So I liked this book, but I had to try really hard to stay focused. There are some great season in this book including the ending. Good read and looking forward to reading more of the Sookie Stackhouse mysteries. But on a side note, I am really loving the tv series True Blood as well.

Still trying to give Bill Compton the benefit of the doubt, but its hard. Another great story and the suspense keeps coming. Lots of humor and sexy supernatural creatures to keep Sookie on her toes.

Tegan is a hard man to like but that is the attraction. He has been scarred the realm of love and he's a loner. Then Elise came into his life in a most unexpected way. Two souls looking for redemption and love. Not really sure how they are going to survive their own history with loss. Elise has a gift that can be harmful. Tegan shows her how to adjust so that she can be of assistance to him in the continuing saga of taking down the leader of the Rogues. There is a battle coming down and there are going to casualities of war. And in the middle of the battle love will conquer all.

This book is the second book in the Breed series. I fell in love with Dante from the start. He's tough to get to know, but when Tess brings out the best in him. Dante has the special gift of precognition handed down to him by his mother. He's been having the same vision for a while and when he meets Tess it gets more intense. The side story beside Tess and Dante, is the realization that the Rogues leader is up to his old tricks again. Still wanting to build an army to take down the Breed, a drug called Crimson is being pushed out on the street. The consequence of all this is that its turning the young vampires into Rogues. The Breed is hired to find out who is dealing the drug, who created it and how to stop it.

There were alot of one liners that kept me laughing. Dante was gentle with Tess when learning about her traumatic childhood. But most indearing I guess for me was the notion that Dante would rescue a dog that was basically on its last leg of life to get in good with Tess who is a veternarian. Man's got to what a man's got to do.

This was a new author for me and although I liked the story line and characters, I got kind of tired of the cat and mouse chase between Darius and Grace. Its like everyt8ime I thought he would give into his desires, he would talk himself out of it. That was very frustrating to me as a reader. Grace is strong willed and always seemed to best him even in the simplist of ways. That was frustrating too. But I liked the idea of Atlantis and the creatures who live there. I loved the fact that there was a back story in mythology to the Atlantians. Not sure how the leader of the vampires is going to get his revenge, so I will have to continue on with the next book. Dont get me wrong, I enjoyed this book considering I wasnt sure what I was getting into but it sure took forever to get these two people together...

I liked this book a lot and it was the first book I have ever read by Lara Adrian. Loved the story, love the characters. Gabrielle was strong in her convictions and even when Lucan would push her aside, she kept coming back to him. I look forward to reading about the rest of the Breed and their struggle against the Rogues.

I loved this book. Each book gets better and this better. Jayr and Byrne are get as two people who because of rank deny their feelings for each other. There is a twist to the story that doesnt come into play til towards the end. I love how Jayr is a girl not yet a woman, and through gene therapy finally becomes the teenager she was denied when she was turned to Darkyn. Each book also brings Alexandra and Michael back into the storyline. They are such a good pair together. Although I was a little surprised by the Robin Hook, Will Scarlet and Sheriff if Nottingham angle. I love these stories and am glad I picked them up. This series has everything from romance, adventure, sexual tension and a continuous surprise that always leads to the next book.

Again another continuation of the Darkyn series. Loved Gabriel and Nicola. They were a perfect pair. Not so sure I liked his 'talent' of being able to summon the insects and bugs to help him see or to fight, but overall he was great. Story also continued the story line with Michael and Alexandra. She tends to get on my nerves, but she has a good heart. Still trying to find a cure, but I think she understands that its going to be a long haul. Its been a great series and looking forward to reading the next one.

I really like this book. To see Rehvenge in a different light and mated to a strong woman. It was awesome. This book also sets things up for the next book and although I am not sure I am comfortable where the story is going, I know J.R. Ward wont disappoint her fans. Great read, I coulldnt put it down. Love the Brothers and how they all come together to stand strong for thier King. I liked how Beth and Wrath were a large part of this story. Cant wait til the next book. I am wondering where Payne is going to fit into all this chaos. I am not sure if she's a good guy so to speak or a bad guy.

I am really enjoying this series. Although Lucan really had me upset when it was being obnoxious to Sam, I still wanted to believe their relationship would turn around. I love how Michael and Alexandra are a common thread and the romance is just enough to keep the erotism going. I really love these book and look forward to reading the next one.
