I have nicknamed myself CatEcumen the Ecumenical Cat because I am a spiritual wanderer, always discovering new traditions and practices. I was brought up as a non-observant Jew, became fascinated with the Messianic movement, attempted unsuccessfully to become a Roman Catholic, was baptized and confirmed in the Episcopal Church U.S.A., flirted with the Baha'i Faith, briefly attended a Quaker meeting, and currently attend an independent non-denominational church. I have recently begun reviewing books through the BookSneeze and Blogging for Books programs. « less
