Wow. No one read The Adventures of Augie March for three years? Well, I loved it. I finished it a few weeks ago.

I'm definitely excited to get to that book. I was getting pissed off earlier trying to download it and upload it to my phone. Long story.

I liked it. I wish I could have read it in less time and not so many bits over 4 months or so. The situations the musketeers get in are very interesting and complex, pitting their interests against each other at times. Which seems to happen in The Man in the Iron Mask as well.

Stewart- I looked at a lot of your shelf. Very nice. We have some in common We both really like: Life of Pi. Memoirs of a Geiisha, The Road, and World War Z. Since you liked World War Z, I want to suggest The Descent by Jeff Long. It is not what the movie of the same name a few years ago was based on. It has the epic feel of World War Z , but it is not about zombies. -Julie

I saw your review of Suite Francaise and was wondering if you'd like to come share your opinions on JARS, my discussion group. We're reading it right now and would be interested in some varying views.

Hi Stewart! I just want to say thanks for the response you gave me about whether or not I should read Water for Elephants. I found it really helpful!

I too listen to many audiobooks in my car on my iPhone. Although a somewhat different experience from reading, listening really brings the book to life and is a real treat with a good reader.
