Saw a little baby redhead bird (don’t know what they’re called) being fed by its mother on the wire this morning. She must have had him late because we’re almost in September and they fly away for the winter. So cute.
Update on the DRACULA series.
The third novel Dracula: Hearts of GLORY will most like be available sometime in November.
Readers have been asking what happens in the final book of the trilogy. All I will say is that Dracula travels to Egypt for an exciting conclusion.
“If you like Dracula this is a must read.” “I found myself HEARING the characters in this story.”
And it all starts with Dracula: Hearts of Stone
May your flowers always be in bloom.
Please check out my author page for excerpts:
Okay, then I really have to check her out....I love to find new authors. Not sure when I'm going to read it...lol..too many books to read.
Yeah me too ! I'm already counting the days....three more weeks....it's getting closer and closer. I'm with you...see as many authors as I can. Which authors do you want to see ?
Long time no hear....lol.
I have been very busy, at work we moved to a new building. So not very much time to read, bug I have read the last book by Kim Harrison. Also a lot of reviewing for authors.
Yes, I'm flying over from Europe to Chicago for the RT and I'm already looking forward. My friend and I are coming on April 9th and go back on April 16th.
So you are going too....that is great.
After eons of darkness Dracula has come into the light. He must emerge from his suicidal hole to help mankind fight the bad vampires that prey on humans. The author Piers Anthony (now a vampire) tries to help him claw his way out, at the risk of his own existence. Meanwhile, a timid vampire named Michael falls for Lauren, a courageous red sheriff vampire. Even though Michael is frightened of her, he can’t help but pursue the red sheriff.
A 12-year-old girl named Jenny has turned out to be a vampire killer, protecting the innocent wherever she can. But as the evil ones take notice of her, she realizes that she might survive to her teen years.
It’s a tale of romance, fangs and valour.
Georgeanna wrote about Dracula: Hearts of Stone. “Jenny is a serious power for good to be reckoned with and I can't wait to read more about her, Allison, Piers Anthony(yes, the famous author), Michael, Lauren, Boa and Wei, Alexander and Tessy, Moon Diamond and poor Zacharia, and, of course, Dracula.”
Well don't worry, i'm reading....a lot...LOL...I love it, I really catching up on my reading. So far I've read Lord of the Vampires by Gena Showalter, Flat Out Sexy by Erin McCarthy, Cast in Secrets by Michelle Sagara, Taken by Midnight by Lara Adrian, Anthology Bad Boys on Board, Cast in Fury by Michelle Sagara. And at this moment I'm in the middle of Hunt the Moon by Karen Chance. So I'm doing good...I have one more week left, so I will be reading a whole lot more.
Don't worry about that either, I will read those books in the future. You know I have tons and tons of books on my TBR pile and I can only read some of them in a short periode...LOL...but I will read everything eventually.
Oh no, you've read three books that didn't really hold your attention...damn that is awful. Okay, you always have one book that isn't what you thought it was, but three....I really hope you've got a book right now that is good and very entertaining.
I’m doing good too...my vacation just started, so I’m two weeks off from work...oh yeah finally...I really needed my time off...just relaxing and catching up with my reading.
Of course, keep faith....it’s sad that you haven’t won this contest, but maybe you win something in the near future.
So Born of Shadows by Sherrilyn Kenyon was good...hmmm...I still need to read that one...another book on my TBR pile which I have to read...well someday in the near future I will read it...LOL...
In the last couple of days I’ve finished Crusade by Nancy Holder, Return to me by Julia Templeton and Bloodlands by Christine Cody.
Next is going to be Lord of the Vampires by Gena Showalter
Have a great weekend, dear friend. I’ll talk to you soon
How are you doing?
I will read them, don’t worry. They are already on my TBR list for the next few weeks.
Sorry to hear that you didn’t win…I have to see who won. Oh yeah, keep me posted…contest are great.
True, hyer Lords of the Underwold books are fabulous. I’ve read the first couple in that series and loved them. I have the others in that series waiting for me on myTBR pile.
Well I read a couple of Julie Garwood Historical Romance books when I was younger and I loved them. So when I got the opportunity to read this contemporary romance I couldn’t say no. And I have to say she didn’t disappointed me, so I think I’m going to check her other work out too.
Sometimes it is hard to choose a book to read, especially when you have a TBR pile as huge as the Mount Everest. But I always manage to pick one out. Oh man, that really sucks when you are reading different books at the same time and none of them hold your interest. I hope it is better now, or maybe you have to drop them and take a book you do like.
Yeah, you told me about Shona Husk and you’re right I haven’t read her stuff. Oh thank you for the link. I will check it out and see.
One more week to go and them some time off from work….I’m counting the days…LOL…
Well who doesn’t love firefighters…hmmm…I’m a sucker for men in uniform…LOL…
Okay, so I’m definitely going to read Kirsten White soon…I just got the second book too, so I can read those almost back to back in my vacation. I have more books waiting for me then, so I can put them along with those.
LOL, you know you don’t have to bribe me to vote for you. But the giveaway you want to do when you are going to win, is a excellent idea. Especially the giftcard to amazon, that will win you votes…Keep me posted on the contest, I’m curious to see if you win.
Gena Showalter is a fabulous author and I love her books too. I still have to read some of her books, but what I’ve read I really liked.
I just finished Ideal man by Julie Garwood, it’s my first book in her contemporary/suspense genre. I’ve read a couple of her historical romance before, but never any others and I have to say it was good. Maybe I will check out her other stuff too.
Now I have to see what I’m going to read next…I have no clue what I’m in the mood for…LOL…
You definitely need to check out her Firefighters series (by Jo Davis), they are awesome...some big gorgeous males, fighting for justice and sweep their woman away...yummy...
Damn you are reading all the books I still have on my TBR pile. I have wanted to read Paranormalcy by Kierstten White for a while now and I have the book waiting for me, but others keep getting my attention...LOL...
I really should make a list with the books I want to read in my two weeks off from work. I need three more weeks at work and then I can catch up with some reading...and it seems the list is getting longer and longer by the minute.
Yeah, I just heard about that contest on Lara Adrian's facebook. I will go to the page and see what I can do for you and I will spread the word among my friends too. I really hope you win. Keep me posted if you win or not.
So what are you reading now ?
I cannot believe you haven't read anything by Jocelynn Drake...she is one of my favorite authors. So put those books higher on your TBR list and start reading...LOL...you won't regret it.
I've heard of Parker Blue and I believe I have her books in e-book, so I think I will check her out in the near future...I love YA books from time to time.
I just finished Ride the Fire by Jo Davis, her last book in her Firefighters series. So I'm done with that one...now I have to see what I'm going to read next...damn that TBR pile is huge and I don't know where to start...LOL...I will figure it out when I need to start reading..but first dinner...
Well let me know when you read Shona Husk and how it is....maybe I will add her to my TBr list too....my long tbr pile...lol.
I always give the author another try after I read a book that isn't that good. All authors have one or two books that are less than the others, so give Thompson another chance and see what happens.
Well that is exactly why I never read reviews of strangers....or read them, but never let it get to me. People think differently, expecially when it comes to book...if you like the series then keep reading girl...I will see if I can read Juliana Stone soon...you made me curious.
You should check out Michelle Sagara....her Elantra series is great...I've read the first two books and i'm already in love with the series...cannot wait to check out the rest.....Damn you reading all the books I still have on my TBr pile..I really need some time off, so I can catch up..LOL..
I just finished Burn the Night by Jocelynn Drake and also Friendly fire by Megan Hart....not sure what to read next...I have to dive into my pile...
Well you are going to love Dragon Bound...you will find the time to read the book...don't you worry...lol...
Nope I never heard of Shona Husk...I think I will check her out later on and see if I will add this author to my list.
Vicki Lewis Thompson is a great author, I haven't read many of her books, but what I've read was definitely worth to read. Some times a book can be hard to get into, even if its from an author you love. I have the book by Juliana Stone, but I still have to read it...just like you I have to see when I have the time to fit in this book.
At the moment I'm in the middle of the second book by Michalle Sagara...pretty good....
Thanks, it’s always nice to hear that someone like my review.
Yes, Laurell K. Hamilton has more series already out. But I’ve only read her Anita Blake books, the others are still waiting on my huge TBR pile….lol…
WHAT…you haven’t read her Demonica books yet…damn girl, you have some catching up to do. Those books are fabulous too…and yeah those characters will appear in her Lord of Deliverance series…so I’m looking forward to that.
Dragon Bound by Thea Harrison is great, you definitely need to check that one out. Possess me by R.G. Alexander is good too, it’s a book with three stories in it, but all the characters are in all the stories. Both definitely worth to read.
Don’t worry, you will get your time to read again…spending time with family is nice…I had that this weekend too…being around with family and no reading…LOL…
Oh yeah, I remember that giant snake in the Harry Potter book and film….damn that was a huge one, I wouldn’t want to see one of those in real life…oh no…then I would run as fast as I can…LOL…
I will add my review of spellbound later on today on my blog and of course here on Shelfari, so check it out.
It’s true, the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter is a fabulous series, there are a few books I didn’t like that much and it has all to do with the amount of male partners….I can handle a few, but what she has in this series is beyond my line. But the last book was awesome again, back to the basis from the beginning and truly about solving murder cases and okay a little sex, but that is okay. I stick to this series, because I love most of the characters and love to see how this will all end. But I do think it’s time to wrap up this series and close it with a happy ending….then move on to the next new series.
Larissa Ione is a fabulous author, I love her Demonica series and I still have to read Eternal Rider, but I’m going to do that real soon. I know this new series is going to be just as fabulous and the first one.
Well I’ve been reading a lot in the last couple of days. I’ve read: Dark Awakening by Kendra Leigh Castle, One night two heirs by Maureen Child and also Possess me by R.G. Alexander. I think Dragon bound by Thea Harrison is going to be next.
Yes it sad, but she did finish the series and left one hell of a series.
Well I would be a little taken back if there was a 200 ft snake in a book and was chasing the characters.
Okay, I'll put the books of Joss Ware higher on my TBR list and read them in the near future.
Well you should check out Jennifer Rardin in the future and see if its for you. Yeah Spellbound is ood, I really love it. I cannot wait to read more of this author.
I just finished Hit List by Laurell K. Hamilton and love it. Finally a book as good as the first couple of books in the series. Now I have to see what I'm going to read next.
