Here is a blurb about my new book—ON THE CREST. Comments welcome: Tige Anderson goes through a series of emotional, physical and psychological adventures in this coming-of-age roller coaster, balancing his life among his romantic trysts, his ambitions, his humanity and his gay best friend. The one thread that connects all of the people in his life is the fact that the cycle of life puts everyone through a series of ups (‘on the crest’) and downs. Whether an individual winds up on top of the wave or under it depends on them. Please let me know if you would like to read the prologue. Tony Carmine.

Am I sure it's you? Well, let's see--Carolyn Howard-Johnson's novel This is the Place, is a winner of Sime-Gen's Critic's Choice Award. Learn more at http://carolynhoward-johnson.com This is the paragraph of bio that followed the short article. The first paragraph--Stress is more than how you feel when you are ona deadline. Poets use it. So can all writers. It's printed in the Jan-Feb edition and for those who may want to see it go to www.writersjournal.com Perhaps there's a link to it there. Yes, Carolyn, I'm pretty sure. How do you stay motivated, Friend?

Hi, Carolyn, I just had to write you a note. I've just returned from BAM in Lafayette, La. with a new copy of Writers' Journal and guess what I found. lol I found a short but helpful article under Vocabulary Review, secondary title Stress, written by a good friend. Carolyn, you are so wonderfully creative and outgoing. I write a little verse on the side when something hits me in the right way and then, sometimes I doodle verses for the fun of it. But the way you outlined an exercise for stress seems so simple I've got to try it. Thank you again for sharing. Lucille

Nope, that doesn't help. I know what you mean by cookie cutter, but those are usually book club category romances. You can email me privately with the title. I may have disliked the book also.

I won't ban you. I do want to know what the last Christian novel is that you read. I've read over 100 in the past year and few were poorly written.
