    You have an interesting variety of subject matter on your shelves. I like the blues in your icon -- reminds me of the jacket cover of "Cold Mountain." Nice tip re: Amazon credit card -- might have to apply for one.

    Hi Carolle. Actually, I haven't read Jade Peony yet so I can't offer my 2 cents. I haven't read about half of the books I own since I have a slight addiction to book buying. Each time I put a book on my "to read next" list, something else comes along that catches my eye! When I do finally get around to reading it, I'll let you know what I think of it.
