    Hi CarolBeth - Yes I'm a member of GDRWA. I'm not as active as I once was but I'm there often and do workshops for them. Congrats on your contest success. That's great. Let me know if you're coming to a meeting and I'll try to be sure and be there. It's a good group with helpful workshops and sometimes critique nights each month. You'll enjoy it very much. It's a friendly group.

    Hi Carol Beth - I'm happy to accept your friend invitation. I grew up in Madison Heights - neighbors to Hazel Park -- but I've lived in Royal Oak for many years and now Lathrup for the past 30 years. I don't do much reader since I'm a novelist. Reading was my love but writing novels takes over my time and life -- so what I read are my books and then squeeze in a some of my writer friends. My newest novel will hit the stores on about Dec 28 through January -- a Steeple Hill Love Inspired, Family In His Heart. It's set on Drummond and the Les Cheneaux Islands in Michigan's upper peninsula. Most of my books are set in Michigan, but I am doing a series set in California's Monterey Peninsula. My next book release is actually non-fiction, Writing the Christian Romance, from Writers Digest and will be available in the stores soon - but immediately on Amazon.com
